We were recently able to spend a day in Raleigh with Dr. Michael Dirr. First he took us to Bahama, NC to visit John Monroe at Architectural Trees. His collection and inventory was unbelievable. The display gardens are worth the trip. Then Dr. Dirr took us to meet Charlie Keith, and we toured
his private arboretum. His passion for plants is apparent in his arboretum and it was a great pleasure to spend time there.
